Finance
Responsibilities for finance are shared by members of the Church Council with Mr Bill Truswell our current Donard Treasurer. From this year (2023/24) church finances are audited and reported centrally as part of the Lagan Valley and South Down Circuit Finance report.

At Donard, we work on the basis that all donations made to the church belong to the Lord and must be used for that purpose.
Regular giving can be by means of Free Will Offering or Standing Order. We generally encourage regular contributors to consider the latter and seek to maximise our income by reclaiming gift aid tax rebates from the government when appropriate.

Our income is used to support local church work, approved local community charities and our partner mission organisations for work at home and abroad.
