bAPTISM

The Methodist Church practices either Infant or Adult Baptism, believing both as a means of grace. We also perform dedication services when appropriate. Arrangement is with discussion with the minister.

Weddings

Weddings are performed in accordance with Methodist Church in Ireland policy.

Funerals

We believe that funerals are an important aspect of life’s journey and and we adopt a warm compassionate and understanding approach to assisting families at such times of bereavement. Please contact the minister if required.

Church Membership

As Methodists we encourage active participation of believers in communal church activity. We have three classes of membership. Junior (for children and young people): Adherents (for those with a loose affiliation) and Full Membership for those who wish to make a significant commitment to church life. We hold a limited amount of data on each group in line with good GDPR data protection practice with the individual’s consent. Generally we encourage people who worship regularly with us to become members. Please speak to the Minister if you would like to consider this and to understand what this might involve.
